Mindfulness is the practice of paying close attention to the present moment and observing your thoughts, feelings and body sensations with an attitude of curiosity and non-judgement. Repeated, this simple practice leads to enhanced mental, emotional and physical strength and resilience.
The benefits to us can be enormous. People report greater energy and enthusiasm for life, ability to relax, improved self-esteem and communication skills, clarity and creativity in their thinking and a greater ability to cope with the many and varying forms of stress situations that are part of living. This means increased health, wellbeing and peace of mind. See Mindfulness Meditation sessions commencing 24 April & 2 May.
Here is some of the Feedback from Manish's last Mindfulness Meditation
What a wonderful course this is. Any uncertainty or questions I’ve ever had about meditation were resolved. Manish is encouraging, non-judgemental, and communicates in a way which is easily understood. He also enjoys humour. Anyone can benefit from this course.
Manish gives a good presentation – a simple message on an otherwise complex matter. It was beneficial to me in that calmness follows a meditation session (in class as well as outside). It brings out a ‘sense of self’.
A good clear presentation with questions answered. Manish’s personality was positive and beneficial for understanding mindfulness meditation. He delivered it in a logical progression of stages of meditation.
This course has been so beneficial in different areas of my life; emotional, cognitive and physical. I can see that with more practice, it will have even more effects. I feel privileged that I have discovered meditation with Manish. He has great insight and experience. The course gives an excellent basis/foundation for being able to practise on your own.
The course covered the principles of mindfulness in a simple easy to understand way and made it applicable to everyday life; very inspirational and an essential part of personal growth. It would be great for people of all ages.
I find it useful using mindfulness to decrease anxiety at work; we had a great teacher who was very good at explaining things. Thanks Manish.
