This course runs over 8 morning sessions – 24 April, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 May, 5, 12 June.
Mindfulness is the practice of paying close attention to the present moment and observing your thoughts, feelings and body sensations with an attitude of curiosity and non-judgement. Repeated, this simple practice leads to enhanced mental, emotional and physical strength and resilience.
The benefits to us can be enormous. People report greater energy and enthusiasm for life, ability to relax, improved self-esteem and communication skills, clarity and creativity in their thinking and a greater ability to cope with the many and varying forms of stress situations that are part of living. This means increased health, wellbeing and peace of mind.
The feedback from Manish's previous Mindfulness Meditation sessions has been outstanding - here are some recent comments.
What a wonderful course this is. Any uncertainty or questions I’ve ever had about meditation were resolved. Manish is encouraging, non-judgemental, and communicates in a way which is easily understood. He also enjoys humour. Anyone can benefit from this course.
Manish gives a good presentation – a simple message on an otherwise complex matter. It was beneficial to me in that calmness follows a meditation session (in class as well as outside). It brings out a ‘sense of self’.
I have really enjoyed this course and learned many practical skills and knowledge. I liked the 8-week format as it allows you to slowly learn and integrate the practice into your life. Manish has a wealth of knowledge and the manner in which he teaches is very calm, down-to-earth and practical. I would be interested in learning more on the spiritual side of mindfulness meditation. I would recommend this course to others.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I have found the concept extremely helpful already and I feel change in my approach to dealing with what I previously found “stressful” and difficult. The practice helps me focus on what is important for continued success.
